Mireille Hadas-Lebel

Mireille Hadas-Lebel taught Hebrew for many years at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO). She is now Professor of the History of Religions at the Sorbonne where she also teaches Biblical Hebrew. She is the author of several works on the History of Ancient Judaism and on the Hebrew Language: The History of the Hebrew Language Originating during the time of the Mishna (PUF, 1976; Peeters, Louvain, 1995), Hebrew, Three Thousand Years of History (Albin Michel, 1992). In addition, she was also responsable for the educational design of a CD-ROM for learning modern Hebrew (Modern Hebrew a comprehensive method, Yodea Editions).
